The Clare Bridge Coordinator is in charge of planning and coordinating programs and activities that provide life-enriching activities for our Memory Care residents. The Clare Bridge community was designed and created with the idea of serving senior resident with memory enhancement challenges. We are looking for a high energy candidate with a love for seniors. We do prefer candidates with a background in Alzheimer's Care.
Responsibilities include:
*Administers dementia programs to meet the specific needs of each and all residents within a memory care facility.
*Ensures residents' lives are maintained to the extent possible by providing activities and contact with the community.
*Provides direct supervision of care giving within the community.
*Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence.
*Provide training and coaching to Associates in all aspects of the Memory Enhancement and Life Enrichment Program.
*Oversee the implementation of BSL's Life Enrichment and Alzheimer's Program guidelines.
*Plan, coordinate and facilitate life-enrichment programs
*Strengthen local community involvement through promotion of volunteerism among members of the community and residents families.
*Develop, plan and participate in the daily and weekly Life Enrichment program.
*Implement programs that facilitate socialization among residents
