Immediate Opening: Health and Wellness Coordinator- LPN Job Number: 49694c Job Type: Full Time--2nd shift and Weekends Location: Homewood Village Genesee Valley--4444 West Court Street, Flint, MI 48532 Contact: Amie Garner Email: AGarner4@brookdaleliving.com Job Summary: This individual will be responsible for clinical nursing care, evaluating the needs of residents, training and supervising clinical support staff, and coordinating care with outside agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident's healthcare needs are met. *Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as resident's healthcare needs change. *Responsible for the direct supervision of care giving and coordination of health care needs within the community. *Provide training, supervision and monitoring of associates. *Report to the Health and Wellness Director
We seek the following qualifications:
*Must have Current LPN License in the state of Michigan *Must be available to work 2nds shift and weekends. *Minimum of two (2) years relevant experiences required *Basic typing skills along with a working knowledge of personal computing and word processing software are required. *Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. *Ability to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral instructions. *Must be energetic and able to multi-task. *Must have strong management skills and clinical skills
