Intern Opportunity – Catalog Development and Analysis

We are looking for an analytical and marketing-minded individual with strong Excel skills interested in an Internship opportunity within our New Business Development group. This individual will provide data entry and project support for the Catalog Marketing team. The successful candidate will handle many daily and weekly tasks that are crucial to the development and high functionality of the group. This Intern will have the opportunity to shadow a Catalog Marketer and understand how the catalog is built from its beginning stages.

Responsibilities

• Reconfigure and organize an extensive Excel spreadsheet using advanced functions such as pivot tables
• Conduct square-inch analysis of catalog pages for pagination
• Analyze new products based on test results and inventory restrictions
• Help manage catalog inventory against upcoming sales
• Update bi-weekly sales reports
• Proofread final catalog versions before printing
• Learn the day-to-day strategy of the catalog business
• Photocopying, filing, and distribution of reports, as required
• Other data entry tasks and projects, as required

• College Junior or Senior status or recent graduate with strong analytical skills and a marketing acumen
• Highly skilled/proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Must be detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and professional at all times
