We are currently seeking a highly motivated analytical marketer to join our direct marketing team. This individual will be responsible for launching new business initiatives and maximizing profitable contribution to The Bradford Exchange’s Business Ventures, Jewelry & Catalog division through the use of sophisticated segmentation and selection techniques in mailing product offers to the company’s house file, as well as to outside lists and cooperative databases. This process involves using strategic and tactical tools to determine appropriate products to mail, intelligent analysis of customer segments’ likely responses to an offer, diligent and detailed entry of offers into company systems, management of inventory to ensure sufficient stock will be available to meet demand, and constant liaison with other members of the immediate and wider marketing teams.
Job Summary:
·Identify marketing opportunities and create optimal marketing plans for both new client acquisition and house file campaigns. This includes numerical analysis of past campaigns and projecting the profit potential of each marketing effort.
·Utilizing appropriate house file selections/segmentation, creative efforts, forecasting, and data analysis to create optimal circulation mail plans.
·Collaborate with marketing support groups (product development, advertising design, production, sourcing, licensing, print production, customer service) in bringing product from concept to market and then overseeing shipping and service.
·Create the basis of marketing for new products to justify new product development and advertising expenditures.
·Explore new avenues for business growth as requested/assigned, including presentations, weekly meeting attendance, creating reports, and functioning as an analytical resource to the organization.
·Maximizing response and ROI through effective planning, analyzing and implementation of campaigns. Developing and executing testing plans that significantly impact financial performance.
