We are looking for a passionate and highly creative Temporary Virtual Product Designer to join The Hamilton Collection! This individual will possess advanced skills in Photoshop to create digital 2D illustration and produce accurate, realistic visual interpretations of the products we market before they are physically produced.  The designer will prepare and complete detail and finished digital imaging from artist sketches and from verbal or written instructions for our products. In addition to designing products through the use of computers, this individual will provide extensive retouching and illustration, and will assist with the production of product decals for our print vendors.



  • Create computer-generated 2D products to support concepts created by the Product Development team
  • Revise designs based on senior management’s direction
  • Contribute design enhancements to achieve better photo angles, color choices and to better match the final production piece
  • Enhance 2D artwork using a wide range of methods, techniques, and/or graphic design software to provide a high resolution image that can be used in print/mass media advertisements
  • Produce final images that appear 3D and represent the emotion and aesthetics outlined in the provided work order for that product
  • Perform color correcting and photo manipulation using resources available
  • Provide high-resolution images, as well as match prints, of artwork provided by Product Development Manager or Associates 
  • Create art-driven decals, word decals, and bottom stamps for products
  • Oversee photography as needed
Required Skills:  
  • AA, or equivalent graphic art training and experience
  • BFA with at least 5 years working with Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
  • Strong digital illustration and design skills
  • Detail-oriented and good time management skills
  • Advanced to Expert level PhotoShop and Illustrator software experience
  • Work with 2D and 3D design problems
  • Printing knowledge
  • An understanding of set photography and lighting
  • The ability to operate in the MAC environment and utilize digital photography equipment
  • Ability to work and troubleshoot in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Print advertising experience a plus
