BCS has been asked to indentify a Supply Chain Test Lead for one of our clients.

The initial duration of this project is 6 months Contract to Hire

Scope of work: 

·         Define test design methods

·         Perform risk analysis

·         Build manual test cases using business component

·         Execute test cases and analyze test results

·         Create defects based on test results

·         Create requirements and function coverage metrics via QC

·         Analyze test reports

·         Produce test designs

·         Test data strategy

·         Design the manual test sets

·         Participate in the creation of the test execution schedule

·         Identify potential data sources

·         Gather basic candidate test data

·         Verify the completeness and accuracy of the test data

·         Create test plans

·         Assist with automation effort

• Define and document the test conditions     
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in creating, executing and analyzing test cases for multi-application projects
• Familar with different testing Methodology - agile, iterative, waterfall
• Ability to write test plans and decompose requirements into test cases.
• Ability to document and root cause defects.
• Ability to prioritize work based on risk.
• Ability to assist in the creation of master test plans, effort estimates and project plans.
• Ability to create complex data sets.
• Ability to assist in the definition of test environments

• Test Planning and Test Case development/execution/analysis for Systems and End to End Testing extrapolated from business requirement and functional specification documents
• Strong understanding of the use of HP’s Business Process Testing; Proficiency in the use of HP’s Quality Center
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2
• Strong SQL background with the ability to write sufficient queries to test
• Understanding of and testing experience with object-oriented languages such as Java and .Net.  
• Familiar with Load testing methodology
• Automated testing methodology and Quick Test Pro tool experience
• Experience testing web-based and/or Unix and/or Mainframe systems
