If you have the qualifications, Business Control Systems, LP (BCS), an award-winning, leading consulting firm has an immediate and pressing opportunity for a SAP HR Programmer/Analyst who is experienced in Web-Dynpro within the HR modules.
You will be responsible for full systems development life cycle of projects/programs within specified functional area(s). You will serve as project leads for medium - large sized projects. You will define the project milestones and ensure targets are met within the project. You must have in-depth knowledge of the solutions available as well as best practices for the business processes. You must stay up to date on future innovations and apply this to direct future changes.
As the SAP HR Programmer/Analyst you will serve as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with ERP/SAP.
You work closely with the business to understand the business requirements to determine the correct system design. You are responsible for business process mapping and function design. You will be responsible for identifying gaps in the business process. You determine the correct system solution, define the IT requirements and capacity needed, and work closely with the business to determine ROI. Completing systems analysis, system design, development, coding, testing and debugging, training and ensuring project completion through customer acceptance is also your responsibility. You determine and write the specifications, develop the application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features. You are also responsible for conducting prototyping, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, and configuration maintenance. You must have in-depth knowledge and know-how of the SAP ERP toolbox, including ABAP and Web-Dynpro to provide automated, user friendly systems to customers.
You are responsible for software integration, external interface development and technical documentation. Coding individual modules and complex functions may sometimes be required. You will develop and build application tables, panels, and reports for projects. Troubleshooting and resolving testing issues are part of your function. You must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of ERP/SAP client/server enterprise application activities. Authorization concept, interface design, data migration and key user training are your responsibility. You are also responsible for support of applications once live. You are a technical expert for the specified module, including all interfaces to/from. Good communications skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices are essential as you must use them to guide your team on issues related to IT application planning, design and build.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for most complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation. Requires highest level understanding of organization's business systems and industry requirements.
· Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.
· Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. May lead re-engineering team and act as project manager in some cases.
· Manages and is accountable for the functional design, build, integrity, security and scalability of the systems in area of responsibility as agreed with all relevant business partners.
· Manages the development and deployment, rollout and hand-over to IT Service Management and Application Operations of medium to large projects, applications, systems software, and/or enhancements in his/her respective area of responsibility ensuring that development projects
meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues (3rd level Support in Process IT).
· Researches, coordinates feasibility studies and makes recommendations on
software products and services in support of improving business
processes and cost savings.
· Ensures the use of effective IT governance procedures to provide high quality IT products and processes, including Change Management, Problem management, incident management and systems development life cycle.
· Ensures target achievement is consistently attained.
· Performs other duties as assigned by management.
